Application for Board of  Trustees membership

The Crisman School is diligently seeking to secure the right new board members.   We want people who will engage in constructive dialogue with innovative and forward thinking ideas, yet work towards consensus.

In our search for excellence, your name came up.

We have enclosed a few documents that you may find helpful in your initial consideration of becoming an active trustee.  Please carefully consider these questions, among others that you develop for yourself as you read the enclosures.

  • Do you have the time and commitment level to be an effective board member?
  • Are you comfortable with the organization’s fundraising efforts?
  • Is this a group you would be proud, comfortable and enthusiastic to be a part of?
  • What will I bring to this board?
  • Are the meeting times feasible for me? Crisman’s board meets on the third Tuesday of August, September, November, January, March, May, and June at 6:00 pm at the school. Virtual meetings, and email ballots may also be required to successfully conduct the business of the board.

Once you are interested in pursuing a further conversation about the Board at Crisman, please give me a call at 903-758-9741.  Or email me at [email protected]

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Laura Lea Blanks,

Executive Director
